Up for sale is a 1985 replica Ferrari 308 GTB based on a clear title Pontiac Fiero GT. The car has a brand new paint job with 25,000 miles on the engine. I picked the car up from postal carrier that I worked with, who had it in storage for 7 years. He purchased the car from a dealership approximately 10 years ago. Vin # 1G2PG3790FP247927, registered as a 1985 Pontiac Fiero. A complete tuneup was performed on the car, including new disc brakes and rotors front and back. I had the manifold refitted and new bolts replaced because Fiero are known for manifold bolts to break.The cost alone was $1200 because they had to drop the engine. I also replaced the clutch, pressure plate for a cost of $1800. I have all documentation to substantiate my costs.I have a new set of tires installed on the car with less than 100 miles on them and aluminum black aluminum wheels. The car has a deep throaty sound. It is a head turner and very fast for a car that is light weight with 6 cylinders and a 4 speed manual transmission. The headliner inside the passenger side has a tear in it, but it is not noticeable, because the sun roof is basically all glass.The insurance is very inexpensive because the car is titled as a Pontiac Fiero and costs about $375 to insure. I have historical plates on the car that expire in 2021 because of its age ( 25 years or older in Michigan, in this case, 32 years young. I have a car fax report that disclaims any irregularities with the car. This is a clear titled car, not a rebuilt, salvage or flood. I require a $500 non-refundable deposit to be paid through paypal, cash in person or a certified cashiers check within 24 hours after the auction ends. Once the initial deposit is paid and accepted, the remaining balance is to be sent within 7 days of the close of the auction, by cashiers check or cash in person.Please note that any check must be cleared through the bank before the vehicle is picked up, shipped or released. I will assist the buyer in any way I can for shipping. This is a private party vehicle, and the car is sold as is with no warranty implied.
