About this vehicle This 1985 Mitsubishi Mighty Max is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle is drivable and is used as a daily driver. Seller"s Notes 2.3L Mitsubishi 4D55 Turbo Diesel. 5 spd. Manual. Factory A/C. 4x4. Vehicle Details Here is a great example of the 80’s mini trucks. This one has the factory turbo Diesel engine and working A/C. Obviously, with its age, it has plenty that needs to be done. The engine runs great and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts nice and smooth, however, it does have a rattle when the engine is idling. Once you throttle up the engine, the rattle goes away and when you’re driving down the road, it doesn’t rattle at all. I’m really not sure what the problem is. Underneath, the frame is nice and clean with no rust. It does have body damage on the passenger fender and can easily be replaced. I replaced the windshield and rear window. Tires are in great shape.
