It has always been a wonderful experience until "Neiri114918" placed a bid on this car, waited until they won the auction and then asked for more information, photos AND even wanted to negotiate a lower price before stating that he and his wife "decided not to proceed with the purchase" due to being "reminded of other more urgent family matters." I believe they also used the name "xtraord50" due to correspondence from another Bidder with zero feedback. I don"t know what their purpose was but I do know how much of my time that was wasted. Please do not bid on the car if you have no intent to purchase. An immediate Deposit of $250 via PayPal is required within one hour of the end of the auction.
This One Owner 1985 RX7 was built in Hiroshima Japan December 1984
Totally Original with the exception of an aftermarket radio.
Always garaged, NEVER any paint or bodywork. The paint still shines as new. There are very few minor paint touch-ups.
There are about 7 dings in the paint resembling small knocks from hail that should be able to be removed by paint-less dent repair.
Attention would be needed to the factory air conditioning that appears to have a slow freon leak, the radio and, eventually the brakes.
The complete interior is nearly perfect showing no wear or fading. The vinyl on the upper door panels appears to have loosened over time.
There is no rust anywhere on the car.
The 5-speed Manual Transmission shifts flawlessly. Manual Choke
Cruise Control
Power Left & Right Side Mirrors
Electric Rear Window Defrost
The factory wheels are nearly perfect with no damage. The tires have few miles on them and look new yet they are about 5 years old.
The original spare tire and jack appear to have never been used.
The 12a Rotary Engine runs and hums beautifully. On May-25-21 at 08:07:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Please note that air conditioning appears to work fine.
