This 1985 Maserati Biturbo Coupe is an Arizona car with an excellent body, usable interior but it is somewhat dry and dry and sunbaked paint. The body is both rust free and straight except for a dent in the right front corner. It is a Biturbo Intercooled car and it has very nice Tecnomagnesio rims and the skirt kit also in excellent condition.
It came from the estate from a collector in Southern Arizona who loved cars and bought many, many cars and trucks over the years. According to an employee of his he drove this Maserati for a while and then parked it on his 10 acre property. I am not sure how long it has been since it was started or driven last but it might be 10-15 years so PLEASE NOTE, we have not started the car and we are selling it at no reserve AS IS, as a non runner.
I have no knowleage that there is anything wrong with the Coupe mechanically but I expect the fuel tank needs a cleaning, carb possible needing cleaned or rebuild and the brakes a service before it is a running and driving car again.
So, again, we have not done anything to try and start the car and we are not going to do that either, we are however selling the car at a very low starting price and at no reserve as a project car. Our restoration shop is packed and we do not even have room to bring the Maserati in the shop.
With the low mileage, 37.000 and the excellent and rust free body it should be a great car for somebody to buy and spend some time and or money on.
The Maserati comes with a clear Arizona title and it has keys. Power windows, AC, Moon roof etc.
After the previous owner passed away we bought this car plus a second 1986 Maserati 425 4 door Biturbo, 2 Renault Dauphines and a Jaguar from the estate. We are keeping the Renaults but the second Maserati, the 4 door car is also for sale, possible as a parts car? It has a straight body also, very dry interior, broken back window.
The cars are in Phoenix, Arizona. We have sold and exported cars from Arizona all over the world since opening our restoration shop in 1986 so export is never a problem.
