Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1985 Ford F-150 is an original with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is used as a daily driver. Seller"s Notes 4 speed overdrive transmission. This truck will drive anywhere and if you maintain it you can probably get at least 200,000 miles out of it. All of the work that went into this truck was because I plan on keeping it for the rest of my life. Vehicle Details 1985 F150 - so much on this truck is new or was replaced within the last year. BFG 31x10.5x15 tires, 38 gallon fuel tank, front brake pads, big radiator, rebuilt engine with less than 10k miles on it, new belts, hoses, clutch plate and throw out bearing, pressure plate, slave cyl, master cyl, heater core, diff and trans completely drained and filled with Lucas synthetic gear oil, 65 amp alternator, Edelbrock electric fuel pump, Bluetooth stereo, new carb, new mass backed carpet, cabin was soundproofed with killmat butyl rubber sound deadened, window weather stripping is new, battery is new, just installed 5,000lb trailer hitch (this truck did not have a trailer hitch besides the bumper hitch prior to me acquiring the truck.) - new KYB premium shocks, just had les Schwab inspect the suspension - everything is perfect - I had them do an alignment. This truck has no issues. It’s an old truck and it’s a survivor. If you are looking for a show truck, I’m going to tell you that this is not your truck. It’s not perfect. But it gets a lot of compliments in the work that was done on it was done well. It still needs a few small things but none of that stuff affects the actual driving or reliability. The carburetor could use an adjustment to make sure that the idle is always perfect. There is a piece of flex exhaust pipe that really should be replaced with an actual piece of exhaust pipe. One of the turn signal light bulbs is out. All of the difficult work has been done. This is a great truck and needs to be enjoyed by someone who can enjoy it. I sustained injuries in a car accident and my knee is screwed up and so is my back. That’s the only reason I’m selling this truck. I love this truck more than I can properly explain. It is such a beast and it’s good on gas. Oh yeah it needs a headliner. I found this awesome one piece plastic headliner that has speakers built into it on LMC truck.
