This unique car is actually Spider Lusso serial number 01/50. Yes, our very first Lusso. Delivered in May 2011 with 48K original miles, we jumped at the opportunity to re-purchase the car several months ago. Aside from the prestige of owning the first Lusso ever produced by Roadster Salon, this car offers many cosmetic and performance upgrades for a fraction of our current pricing. Since leaving the shop, it . . spent its life taking leisurely seasonal drives in Connecticut, and touring in Arizona. Driven only a careful 13K miles, the car"s mechanical condition was impeccable. Upon arrival, we noticed that the Arizona sun took its toll on the interior. Sun damage to the leather inspired us to install a brand new Lusso S2 black leather interior and refurbished cloth convertible top. The car also went through our arduous re-certification process, with over 130 man hours of close inspection, updates and repairs. Please call to discuss what this process entailed. We can now offer this Lusso with our exclusive 1-year warranty. While lacking all the contemporary upgrades of our S2 version, this Lusso was built on a rare 1985 Pininfarina chassis- -which further enhances its value. As serial number 01/50, it also has even more cachet. With only 61k on the odometer, clean bill of health and warranty, this Lusso S1 is a tremendous value. Offered at $42,995, roughly $30,000 less than a comparable Lusso S2. Even more important, this Lusso is available for near immediate delivery without the current 18-24 month lead time for most of our models. Cosmetic Impressions The interior has Lusso S2 fit and finish with new full leather and wood upgrades. Custom burled walnut accents and high-end leather have Maserati DNA. Tub has also been upgraded. Interior is immaculate and just completed last week. Perfect! Exterior is rust free and nearly flawless with no dings or significant scratches to mar its appearance. Car was repainted as part of our original restoration, and still looks very fresh. Lusso S1 version has upgraded suspension, tire/wheel package and light weight bumper, grill and fascia package.
