NOSTALIC 1985 CHEVY CAMARO I-ROC Z/28! !
FACTORY BRIGHT BLUE POLY SURVIVOR! ! ORIGINAL T TOP CLASSIC BEAUTIFUL GLASS STRAIGHT BODY! IN 1985 CHEVY MADE A STATEMENT WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF ITS I ROC 28 CAMARO! THESE INCREDIBLE CARS HAVE BECOME VERY COLLECTABLE AND ARE EXTREMELY FUN TO DRIVE! INSTEAD OF PAYING THE TALL DOLLAR THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET IN ON THE GROUND FLOOR WITH A SOLID PROJECT (EXCELLENT INVESTMENT)! PLEASE ALLOW ME TO GIVE A HANDFUL OF DETAILS REGARDING IT.
First let me state that there is one particular ebayer who is bidding on items consistently without paying. I will be more than happy to share more information regarding this individual upon request. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE! This F body is available for immediate purchase! The serious buyer is strongly encouraged to call (314) 649-8227 to find out how to scoop it up now! It will be listed on other websites & for sale locally! If a deal can be struck the auction will cease! “DON’T MISS OUT”! Many things can be said about the vintage vehicle that you see pictured above. Although it is not 100 percent as of yet I believe the next individual will enjoy taking it to the next level. To start the body is straight and all of the panels are uniform. That being said she will still need a fresh coat of paint and some minor body work to turn her into your dream cruiser. Both quarters are in excellent shape and happen to be RUST FREE! ! No accidents or any damage around the circumference of the rear including the rear bumper / hatch area! Even the inner wheel wells and wheel house areas in beautiful condition!
The doors are very nice as well (NOT RUSTY) also underneath which is highly unusual for these F Body cars! The front fenders are in great shape and the driver’s side is original. That being said the passenger side was the recipient of a dent from a container. Instead of trying to pull it out the best way to go for us was to replace it (quality part / fits perfect)! Finally the hood is in great shape as well.
Like most of the other panels it could stand to be prepped and painted. In my opinion the car can be enjoyed as is and covered later if one so desires. All of the surrounding glass is in excellent condition and the T Tops are in pristine shape! All things being equal the cars worthy of a full restoration “it’s solid where it counts”! “ ONE FINAL PEEK ”

Upon opening the door of this little Camaro you will find an interior that is still very much intact! The steel gray trim package still comes across sporty yet subtle. As previously stated the car has been sitting so a good thorough cleaning would do it good.
All of the seat upholstery (except the driver’s seat) is damage free.
The driver’s side does have a couple of small tears and the passenger rear has some loose stitching. The dash pad is in phenomenal condition and so is the center console. Both interior door panels are in very good shape.
The headliner has seen better days and will need to be replaced. Again this is a driver quality sports car that could use a little TLC. All things being equal that’s half the fun of owning them. Since we spent a good deal of time discussing cosmetic details regarding the car lets look at what the drive train! Laying under the hood of this Z/28 is the revered 305 Tune Port fuel injected block. According to the previous owner the block was rebuilt and I have no doubt that it was. That being said I don’t have any paperwork from him substantiate the claim. I can say that the car usually starts pretty easily. However at some point a local mechanic disconnected the exhaust at the manifold. His intention was to switch the down pipe etc over to install headers. Thankfully he never got around to it but left the down pipe disconnected. The motor is extremely healthy but, to run at idle (without issue} the next owner will need to reconnect it. Finally in my opinion it would be best to replace the 02 sensors as well. Until these items are addressed the car tends to fall on its face (dies in gear).
So to be clear from my perspective it needs to be trailered or towed. Again this should be a simple fix however I haven’t had a chance to get it done (work place injury}. The good news is that I bought the parts (new 02 sensors, etc) and they will be included with the car. I am looking to get a very reasonable dollar for the car (my loss your gain)! If you have been waiting for the right moment to get in the game of Camaro collecting “now’s the time”! PLEAS REMEMBER THE CAR WILL NEED SOME ODDS AND ENDS TO MAKE HER HOME WORTHY. SHOULD BE AN EASY FIX: TAKE A LISTEN!

Tucked underneath each corner is an authentic I roc Z/28 wheel that screams yesteryear! Handling is also a breeze since this CAMARO has fairly new performance tires! Even the trunk is in good condition! Please remember that this is a project. This Classic car is a great investment and a perfect toy to unite a father and son. No trades I will entertain reasonable offers. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE! ! Please feel free to call {314} 649-8227! Finally I would like to state that if you have zero feedback please contact me prior to bidding or your bid may be canceled. I can help provide shipping in the US & overseas.
