Vehicle description

1985 Chevrolet Suburban Scottsdale C20 3/4Ton RWD, AC (R134conversion)/PB/PS, Heavy Duty Trailering Pkg -low gear rear end for towing -trailer brakes, Camper Mirrors, Flowmaster dual exhaust (deep performance sound), air shocks I have owned this Suburban for 13 years. It only has 129K miles on the body . It had a new Jasper engine installed at 101k therefore it only has 28k miles on the engine . The transmission was rebuilt at 102k therefore it only has 27K miles on the transmission . The engine and transmission are solid and dependable. New power steering gear box installed at 119k. New front and real seals at 117k. New tires at 127k therefore it only has 2k miles on the tires . Items I have done to ensure a satisfied sale: Oil and Filter Change Greased all lubrication points New Distributor Cap, Rotor, Spark Plugs, Spark Plug Wires Timing Adjustment Clean Carburetor Replace PVC valve. New Air Filter and Breather Filter Installed new battery tray (old one was starting to rust) Installed all new drive belts Installed a new power steering pump (it had a small leak) New AC Compressor and vacuum recharge New Tie Rod End New Idler Arm Wheel Alignment Replaced all of instrument gauge cluster lights with long life Blue LED lights New Windshield wiper blades Truck Interior: The truck interior is in nice condition. The seats and carpet look brand new. The dash board has one crack in it. It has an aftermarket stereo installed. I put a CD in it to make sure it worked but it did not play. AM/FM Radio sounds fine. Glove compartment door does not open fully on first try; it is getting hung up on vent hose behind it. Headliner is sagging. It is not sagging so much that it hits your head or causes any visual problem. The headliner cloth is clean and does not have any tears. Plastic floor covering behind 2 nd seat has a few tears in it. Rear window defrost not working. Key does not lower rear tailgate window but the switch on dash does. Truck Body: Truck has spent entire life in the South and is rust free (except one tiny spot I noticed below battery tray when I replaced it). The truck needs a new paint job. There are small dents at both camper mirrors.
Overall Comments: This truck is in good shape and could easily be taken to a complete restore. This truck is 36 years old so it is not without faults. I have a 100% rating that I would like to keep and am trying to give you the best description I can on this truck. I have taken pictures to help you identify any faults that I may not have pointed out in the description. I am happy to answer any questions.
