Vehicle description
1985 ALFA ROMEO GTV6 - This model is considered to have a best sounding V6 engine ever created by Italian engineer Busso, hence "Busso V6".
Car has lived all of its life in California and Nevada before I bought it and shipped it back to me in Illinois. Never driven in Winter or Rain while I had it. Absolutely dry rust free, original example, perfect candidate for a full restoration.
Paint is original, due to lots of sun, wears a so-called "patina". Some might prefer to keep the car that way, or respray if going for a brand new look.
Full binder of receipts and service records dating from 1987 all the way to 2019.
Recent work done:
- Driveshaft rebuild - Shifter rebuild - Rear brake calipers replacement - Oil change
Cons:
- Has a rip in a driver seat side bolster. - Little grinding in a 2nd gear, if shifting not carefully/fast. (Synchros) - a common thing for this specific model. - Faded paint in some areas due to sun exposure.
