for sale is a 1984 volkswagen jetta diesel .original paint and its manual transmission and has minimal rust. it also has the grease car conversion so the car can run on diesel fuel or vegetable oil/grease at any given time. the bottom is spotless and was never driven in the winter Recently replaced where: front pads and rotors 4 new tires thermostat waterpump all fuel injectors rear deck speakers radio (needs some fine tuning, plays but static at times) shift linkage fuel filter fuel lines
The bad: water stain on passenger seat (no leaks as of right now, was from previous owner) small rust spot under bumper near passenger side missing a few trim pieces small piece missing out of rear tail light engine needs timing adjustment (running a little rough)
all in all a fun little car, would be a great project or a nice summer vehicle. i was able to get 50mpg off super clean vegetable oil (used to own restaurant so always ran the cleanest oil bought from distributor) if you want to know more go to greaser.com sale includes a set of 5 15 inch wheels with tires and original vw hubcaps. bentley repair manual and grease car installation guide (completely reversible by the way if you don"t want it ) im in the process of moving and it can"t come with me. hopefully someone be the proud owner of this true survivor!
