Up for auction and offered with NO RESERVE we have a beautifully kept 1984 Rolls Royce Silver Spur. A second owner, rust free, California car with a clear title. With under 70,000 miles showing on the odometer this Rolls Royce is in tip top shape and ready to find a new home and a new owner to enjoy it for years to come. The Silver Spur MK I was produced by Rolls Royce from 1980-1989, and it is a long-wheelbase version of the Silver Spirit, making this particular model more desirable. The exterior of this Spur has been repainted in its original Silver Sand color and the paint is in very good condition. There are some small scratches and small chips to the paint but nothing that is eye catching. The dark brown vinyl top is excellent without any sun damage or evidence of peeling. The chrome grille and exterior trim pieces are all complete and in great condition. The front and rear bumpers are complete and in good shape and this Rolls Royce never looks to have been in any accidents in its lifetime. There are two minor door dings on the passenger’s side, which I’ve tried to photograph to the best of my ability. These could probably be removed by a good dent guy. There is also a small dent to the very tip of the front fender which I have pictured as well. All light assemblies are complete and in good condition. This Silver Spur sit on four whitewall Michelin tires with “RR” crested chrome hub caps. The interior is brown in color and very complete. There is some minor wear to the seats, the driver’s seat has a small bit of lining exposed, the center armrests show some wear, but otherwise there are no tears or major imperfections. The door panels are in good condition, with exception of the driver’s armrest showing some wear and the passengers’ side having a small patch of discoloration. The rear panels are excellent and complete with cigarette lighters in each. The headliner and sun visors are perfect. Overall the interior has been kept really nice considering it age. The interior wood panels are complete, the drivers’ and passengers’ door upper window sill veneer is starting to become pitted and the dash veneer is starting to crack in places but it’s not peeling away from the wood, and still looks more than acceptable. The trunk space is spacious, tidy, and complete with factory tools tucked in behind the carpeted backboard that snaps nicely into place. The dash is complete with all original gauges that function accurately. The radio, clock, seat controls, interior lights, and A/C all work. All windows wind up and down as they should. The headlights, side lights, brake lights, all work and the indicators self- cancel. The push horn is also functional. The fact that this Silver Spur is low miles and has been very well maintained is evident when you drive the car. It starts right up with the turn of the key, and no red warning lights are glaring back at you. The transmission drops into gear without hesitation or alarming noises. As you pull away, the steering is light, responsive, and the engine feels strong yet nearly silent in operation as only a Rolls Royce could be. Once on the road it seems to glide as the suspension is so tight and nothing is bonking or clunking as you go over bumps in the road. The brakes are in great shape and both systems seem to be holding pressure properly. Truly this car is a joy to drive. Overall this Silver Spur is an excellent example of why the Rolls Royce is the best premium luxury vehicle of its time. Even now I don’t know that any car is made with this much thought and attention put into every single little detail.
