Vehicle description
This is a clean, original 2 owner 1984 Grand Prix with 80K documented miles. I have owned the car for about a year as a driver and it has a clear title in my name. I put about 100 miles a week on it and it is mechanically sound and safe to drive. This is a nice G Body that can be driven anywhere.
The engine is the original 5.0L 305 Chevy 4 bbl. It always starts even on the coldest days and runs the way it"s supposed to with no issues. The transmission is a TH200, also with no issues and shifts the way it should.
It has brand new BFG TAs that don"t even have 500 miles on them yet. The shocks are also new. The car tracks straight and has good brakes.
The interior is red cloth and has only light wear. The headliner is sagging and will need to be replaced. It has a Kenwood stereo that sounds great. The air conditioner has been tested and works but there is a slight leak from the Shrader valve.
The body and paint are in great shape. The paint is original and still pretty shiny and there"s no rust on the car. It has a white vinyl Landau top that is not dried out and there is no evidence of rust underneath. The body gaps are even and the doors close nice.
The car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction anytime. Feel free to ask questions but do not ask what the reserve is and I am not looking for trades. A $500 deposit is required at the end of the auction and full payment is expected at the time of pick up.
