Condition: | Used | Seller notes: | “1984 Mercedes Benz 500 Sec 2 door coupe. Overall a solid car has some rust issues in front of the rear wheels. but overall very solid. Needs some mechanical work. It will start and run but once it warms up a bit starts to die out and stop. We installed a new fuel pump and filter. The car had been sitting for a while and the fuel system must have gummed up. Got it running enough to move it but will still need to be worked on and repaired. I believe it will need a new fuel distributor air flow meter and a possible new injectors. The driver side door window track will need to be replaced as well. Does not attach to the bottom of the glass to hold the window up. Interior is fair but has cracks in the dash and seats. Overall it seams all the power options worked except the driver door window. It is a solid project and better for someone who knows more about Mercedes Benz.” |

1984 Mercedes Benz 500 Sec 2 door coupe. Overall a solid car has some rust issues in front of the rear wheels but overall very solid. The paint is peeling off in a couple small areas and the hood is very faded and worn through on the paint. Needs some mechanical work. It will start and run but once it warms up a bit starts to die out and stop. We installed a new fuel pump and filter. The car had been sitting for a while and the fuel system must have gummed up. Got it running enough to move it but will still need to be worked on and repaired. I believe it will need a new fuel distributor air flow meter and a possible new injectors.
