Vehicle description
Vehicle Details I'm selling my 1984 Mercedes 300D. Part of the W123 series of cars that are known for their reliability, as well as their ease of repair. A little about the car, what I've done to it, and what issues still exist. The car starts right up, and runs smooth as butter. -The belts are new in the last year -The tires are about 2 years old, with minimum wear -New brakes were installed in 2018, as well as having an alignment performed. -The driveshaft bushing was replaced in 2019. -The AC was rebuilt in 2017, and was converted to R134a. -Rear differential was rebuilt in 2017 -Head gasket replaced 2018 -Instrument cluster lights upgraded to led bulbs for better visibility -Filler neck gasket replaced -New stereo head unit installed As for things that the car has going on: -Heat does not come from footwell, only from front vents. -Small vacuum leak somewhere, that causes the car to not hold enough vacuum to lock and unlock multiple times. Locks DO work, but you have to lock the car in the first minute of turning it off. -Rear driver side power window does not work. I am not sure if it is the motor, or something else. Worked fine when I purchased the car, and then randomly stopped working. -There is some rust on the rear driver side wheel arch, and the rear passenger arch under the paint. -The car was repainted by the PO at some point, but is true to the original color. Included in the sale of the car, I am throwing in a brand new OEM Mercedes windshield seal (as far as I am aware, these are no longer available), a brand new passenger door seal, vacuum element for the foot well, extra vacuum pods for the vacuum system, door clips, and other random parts for projects that I haven't finished. This car has been very good to me, and I am sad to let it go. It will be a very reliable, and fun car for whoever owns it next. Depending on where you live on the east coast I can deliver the vehicle free of charge. Images Download the Motors app
