Vehicle description
1984 Silver 2.0 L 4 CYL Mazda 626 Coupe 2 Door GLX Notchback JDM Japanese Import to North America purchased from Mazda Motors Mazda Midtown the originalNew York City Mazda sales office located at 801 11th Ave New York NY. This is an amazing Mazda all original survivor that I purchased a few years ago from the original owner. I purchased it with 26k miles and have since put about 6k miles myself. This Mazda is Museum quality and to any Mazda enthusiast collector in would make an extremely important and rare addition. All I have done is put a set of brand new tires and change the battery and alternator. Opportunity to own what is probably the last surviving 1984 2.0 L 626 2 Door Notchback In North America and possibly the World. Specifications are as followed

The 626 has four-wheel independent suspension featuring Mazda"s patented Twin Trapezoidal Links (TTL) rear configuration. According to Mazda, the TTL geometry induces toe-in to counteract the natural tendency of the rear wheels to toe-out when complying with road bumps or cornering force. Other features include anti-roll bars fitted fore and aft, MacPherson front suspension with asymmetrical A-arms and rack and pinion steering. The technical highlight of the suspension is the Electronic Variable Shock Absorbers (EVSA) system (only on the Touring Sedan and coupe) which with the push of a dashboard button adjusts the shock absorbers" dampening for either ride comfort - the "Normal" setting - or firmer handling - the "Sport" setting - or to allow the dampening to change automatically relative to vehicle speed ("Auto" setting). It is very simple to operate and the mode changes are quite noticeable. In the "Normal" setting the test car had a rather firm ride. The 626 is powered by Mazda"s FE 121.9-cubic-inch (2-liter or 1,998 cc), single overhead cam, four-cylinder engine rated at 84 horsepower at 4,800 rpm and 110 foot pounds of torque at 2,500 rpm. Although 84 horsepower isn"t the end of the world for a car weighing some 2,500 pounds, I will say the test car"s performance was more than adequate for all Lehigh Valley driving conditions. The standard five-speed manual transmission (a three-speed automatic is available as an option) helped to get out every horse. Acceleration was brisk (0-60 mph in about 12 seconds) and passing and mountain climbing power impressive for a four-cylinder engine. Mazda claims the 626 has a top speed of 104 miles per hour. I will take Mazda"s word for it since I have no intention of proving it
