Vehicle description

Up for your consideration is my 1984 Mustang 20th Anniversary Convertible. Built for just 35 days in the spring of 84 with a total production of 5,261 there were just 587 of the 302 4V 5 speed convertibles made. All in Oxford White with the Canyon Red interior. This was the last of the Carbureted Mustangs, with the automatics being Fuel Injected.
I bought this car in Oregon last month for my daughter, but she has decided to go with a more modern Mustang, hence the sale.
Sold new in Washington state, it has been an unmolested Pacific Northwest car its whole life.
The car is a 3 owner enthusiast owned car with EXTENSIVE documentation including the original build sheet & owners manual as well as the rare 20th Anniversary badge that was affixed to the dash of most anniversary edition cars. An huge pile of 30 years of dealer invoices & service reports are also included along with every license plate that was ever on the car.
The car runs, drives & shifts smoothly with no squeaks from the dash & handles just fine with no slop in steering or drivetrain. Plenty of pep in the engine despite the 131,000+ showing on the odometer, it runs like 31k.
The Air-conditioning blows cold in all speeds.
It also comes with its original TRX Wheels with a good set of Michelin Radials with plenty of wear left in them.
Also included are the original Marchal Driving light covers.
The interior shows little wear & fading & frankly still looks new. The car was garaged & cared for. The body, while virtually rust free does have some small dings (in particularly the passenger door) but I was told by the paintless dent guys that this is a simple fix. There are also some touch ups in the paint from small rock chips that are non matching paint. The paint is believed to be original & the top was replaced in 93 & presents well.
All in all a good solid candidate to enjoy as is or to take to the next level. Inspections welcome at buyers expense.
