Vehicle description
1984 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60
This is a One Owner Land Cruiser. It was owned by a husband and wife and it spent the first half of its life in Colorado where it was daily driven and kept in a climate controlled garage. The couple retired around the year 2000 and moved to California where it has been since.
The body is in good condition, has minor scratches and maybe a few minor dings but nothing at all major. The paint is in good condition. It was resprayed sometime in the late 1990"s due to several long scratches from needing to drive past a tree that fell over on a narrow street. The paint is very presentable and overall looks nice. Has some fading and oxidation, shows some age with minor scratches and chips mainly on the lower end of the body on the passengers side. The wax discolored some of the paint and left a white haze. I was quoted $300 for it to be buffed out and cleaned up but it was not a major priority to me.
The interior is in good condition. Just had a new carpet kit installed. I took pictures when the old carpet was removed. The floors, top and bottom, are in excellent condition with no rust or damage. The dash top has some cracks and the passenger"s seat has one hole with a new front seat upholstery kit and a dash cap/cover. It will make the interior look great.
The motor and transmission are solid. Runs smooth and strong with a smooth idle and strong acceleration. New clutch kit about 8 years ago ( estimated about 12k miles or less on it). The suspension is good, drives smooth on all roads no pulling or shaking with very little play in steering wheel. I t was driven last month on one trip over 100 miles, mostly highway cruising and smooth at 70MPH with no issues. No leaking or overheating. This is a very solid, mature, adult owned, maintained and never abused FJ60. You can see what you are bidding on with plenty of pictures to show how solid it is.
Clean California Title in hand. Currently on Non-op Status with DMV with no back fees or issues.
