Vehicle Details The owner has owned the Corvette for almost twenty years, and it belonged to his late wife who passed away in 2005. Since 2005, it was driven only 2,000 miles and has remained in storage but maintained. It's a southwest Oklahoma vehicle so there's no rust or corrosion. The paint is silver/grey with a chip on the R/F wheel opening, some flaking on the front bumper and some flaws on the left side of hood. The interior is red, shows no wear, no cracks on dash and new carpet and heat shield were installed. The following items were replaced while stored: fuel pump, AC converted to 134R, shocks, OEM exhaust installed by Midas, Goodyear Eagle tires P255/50ZR16, antenna motor and spark plugs and wires. The original radio, cruise control and electronic instrument panel operate normally. The transmission shifts normal, the clutch is smooth but the engine has developed an intermittent miss. A mechanic diagnosed the problem as a sticking exhaust valve on number eight cylinder. He changed oil and added an additive, and the problem went away only to return later.
