– you are bidding on a fine example of one of the loveliest Grand Touring coupes to ever eat up the asphalt. . – i have owned the 6er since spring of 1999; believe myself the second owner although carfax shows no info prior to 1990 – clean NJ title – 118,423 actual miles, of which i have driven some 78,000 – a driver and not a show car, the leather is nevertheless in good shape, only showing normal wear and tear. trunk is clean and the tool kit nearly complete. some would describe her overall as ‘a very good 3’ – over the course of twenty years i have spent every possible dollar on her, while keeping the automobile as original as possible – i did replace the Blaupunkt in-dash radio/cassette with an Alpine CD/cassette/radio, 6-disc carousel in the trunk, replaced the front speakers – besides a 3.2L engine instead of 3.5L, and no secondary AC unit in the back seat, one difference between the 633CSi and the 635CSi, L6 & M6 is that the 633CSi rides on 14" rims, rather than the metric TRX wheels. i have replaced a couple of the original wheels via eBay, but kept to the original style – coming to BMW from classic Chryslers, i made a point of finding the mechanic before buying the car – first shop i went to for ppi and subsequent baseline repairs, the shop manager drove a 635CSi and the tech drove an L6 – current shop – since 2002 – the owner is an E24 expert who rebuilt his own M6 – i have twenty years of comprehensive service records, and many records from the initial owner reaching back to the mid 1980s – odometer photo taken on 6 April 2021 – care taken included a full respray in 2011 – the 6er has had a roof over her head since 2001
– AC recently recharged w/ R-12; the first recharge necessary since i’ve owned the car – 11k miles on replaced clutch, replaced obc
– Miss 6 has made one trip on a flatbed in 22 years; that was for a $3.00 electrical relay, four miles away from home. .
