“Almost fully-restored 1983 Nissan/Datsun 280 ZX Turbo 5 speed. Never seen rain or snow during my ownership. Always garage stored. Interior is in very good condition with new carpeting throughout and a new bluetooth stereo and new speakers. Exterior had new paint job and is in very good condition as well. Tires have less than 500 miles on them. Turbo works as it should - pulls strong. This car is not perfect: Spoiler on front of car was bent slightly (see picture) when a ramp collapsed during an oil change - but other than that, no real issues besides very minor paint dings. Drivers side seat has a small tear in the bottom cushion. Sensor light on dash stays on.” |

Vehicle description
1983 Datsun/Nissan 280ZX Turbo with 5 speed manual transmission. I bought this vehicle with the idea of restoring it to show quality, but life has gotten too busy for me to spend the necessary time to complete the restoration. I used this car as a daily driver for a few summers, but lately I rarely take it out of the garage because it"s too small to cart kids and sports gear around. It kills me to sell it, but it"s even worse seeing it just sit in the garage unused.
The restoration is about 85% in my estimation. Most of the interior is complete and most of the exterior is in good shape.
The engine starts and runs well - turbo is still very strong and all belts, plugs, etc have been replaced when it was professionally tuned up.
Tires are almost brand new: Less than 500 miles on them and they really hug the road nicely.
A sensor light on the dash stays lit. Doesn"t affect anything from a driving standpoint, but it"s annoying. Because I haven"t driven the car recently, I haven"t spent the time to track down the issue. I think it is pretty minor but I want to make sure potential buyers are aware.
The drivers side seat has a minor tear in the fabric.
The front spoiler has a dent in it from a ramp that collapsed during an oil change (see red arrow in the picture).
