Vehicle description

Vehicle Details GMC El Camino. 1983 El Camino for Sale. I bought this car and am taking the motor and tranny out for my project.ENGINE, TRANNY, ENGINE HARNESS, ENGINE & TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE, RADIATOR, THROTTLE, OR ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH THE ENGINE OR TRANNY IS NOT INCLUDED.Stainless steel exhaust will be included but the headers will not be included. The body control harness will be includedShop manuals will be included for the GTOThis car is mostly completed. There's three things you have to do to the frame to complete it like install front and rear sway bars and get the alignment done which will require fabricating some spacers. That's pretty much it for the frame.Regarding the body, all of the fabrication on it has been completed except for the hood, front nose, side skirts, rear bumper. There are positive and negative molds for the hood, front nose, rear bumper, front fenders, side skirts. If you want you can make the hood and nose yourself out of carbon fiber or fiberglass. The interior, meaning the floor and dash is 2006 GTO, so that's all finished and ready to install. The door panels will have to be El Camino or custom made. Reason for selling: Original owner sold his company and had a lot of time on his hands. He wanted to make a race circuit car and started the build. His imagination ballooned and the car turned from being a motor and trans swap into the behemoth project that it is today. A year later he got a job at a company and had no time to work on this project. Two years later he hadn't touched the car. Wife's parents are out of state and are older and they are going to sell everything to move closer to them. The project car must go.Original owner/builder took a 2006 GTO and gutted it. The floor pan, firewall, dash in the El Camino is GTO. All GTO parts for the 2006 GTO are included (dash, HVAC, carpet, seats, center consul, electrical body harness, etc).Frame was build by original owner. It's a solid frame (1/8 inch steel) with independent suspension all around. Includes a 2003 Mustang Cobra independent rear end. Front suspension is out of a C-6 corvette. Has rack and pinion installed. He is an engineer and used CAD software to design the frame. Parts were designed in software and cut out in water jet machine.Suspension, frame, brakes, brake lines are completed. Body work is mostly completed. The original owner made molds for front nose, hood, and front inner fender wells. Meaning you can use those molds to make the hood or front nose out of carbon fiber which was what the original wanted to do. Front inner fenders and radiator shroud are carbon fiber and already made. All trim pieces are included from the original El Camino. Same with glass.Wheels and front brakes are from a C-6 corvette. Rear brakes are from the mustang. This car is registered as a diesel. I'm not sure what California will make you do when you want to register this car in your own name.I don't know everything about this car because there's a lot of details. But if you have a question, ask.If you don't like the look of the 1984 El Camino, you might be able to use the frame on a 1984 Monte Carlo. Images Download the Motors app
