It"s been a local car ever since. Having had just one repaint from new this is one cared for old car/pickup. With an original price of 9332.16 (we have some very nice original paperwork) this El Camino got some nice equipment and has a very good look.Fully serviced by our expert old car techs we got the air-conditioning working spot on (new compressor), went through all the systems and put a new exhaust on from the converter back. She"s ready to rumble on down the road. The paint is very nice with some expected occasional use makes and bumps, the interior is very clean and the bed is just as nice. The engine compartment is tidy and the underside extremely solid.The El Camino is sporting a custom cap bought around the original time of purchase and the original owner tells us its quite rare and they have been offered a princely sum for it but they wouldn"t part with it. The Chevy looks great either way- with or without and we will leave that to the next owner to choose.Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.We stand behind our thoughts on this car by offering our travel expenses guarantee- come see the car and if we have materially misrepresented its condition we will gladly pay half of your travel expenses up to $500.00- this offer had been in place since we sold our first classic and we haven"t paid the money yet. .
