Vehicle Details 1983 Audi quattro vin: WAUZZZ85ZDA900096HistoryThe car spent most of it’s time in California (last 25+ years). It has a rebuilt title, because under the previous owners’ ownership in 2012 it was hit by a drunk driver in the front, while it was parked on the street. Because the actual car value and repair costs, the car was totaled. The car was professionally repaired (center core support, hood, grille, bumper were replaced) and the whole car was painted. In 2017 I purchased the car from the previous owner, good friend of mine.The Build- complete tear down: engine, suspension, brakes, interior down to the shell. The parts were then swapped over to another Audi quattro.- undercarriage: cleaned, prepped and applied 3M undercoating.- swapped: from a ‘91 Audi Coupe quattro - complete drive-train,sub-frames, two piece suspension, sway-bar control arms and knuckles- entire drive-train overhaul: cleaned, painted, replaced every bushing(sub-frame, control arm, etc.), 5 lug hubs, new bearings, rebuiltCV joints, including new boots. KW V1 coil-over suspension along withswapped rear (lockable) differential. Installed Porsche 911 Carrera Sfront calipers with A8 disks, rears are from an Audi S8 with venteddisks, stainless steel lines.- engine swap: AAN engine from a 1995 S6 (113K miles). New timing belt,tensioner, spark plugs, converted to V-belt setup. Rear crank sensor(60-2) installed, along with a modified 7A valve cover, oil pan, windagetray.
