Only made from 1979-1982, this is a 5-speed, diesel engine VW pickup that has been well-maintained and still drives great. Spent its entire life in Louisiana save the last three years. Lots of work has been done to make this antique fun and easy to drive - new struts, good brakes, starts right up. Hardwired battery tender for easy charging. Have original title in hand. The truck is registered as an antique in Rhode Island, and was inspected until 06/2018. It"s been stripped it down to bare essentials, making it perfect to fit your vision - a complete restore to its original look, a new turbo engine to race it around town, or drive it as is and get a thumbs up everywhere you go.
