Vehicle description
Vehicle Details 1982 Ford Mustang GT Hatchback. Garage find! A true "Little Old Lady" car! She bought it new, and I purchased it with the original 1982 title. 45588 original miles! This is a great opportunity for a Ford enthusiast to own an all-original, unmolested, 5.0L Mustang! While the car has been stored inside, it will need a *deep* clean and detail from sitting. I drove in home 15 miles, and it ran and drove great! Steering and shift linkage is tight, no slop or play. Starts, stops and runs like it should. Brakes have been completely overhauled recently. Rotors, calipers, drums, and soft hoses are new. Have not pulled rear wheels, but can only guess the cylinders and shoes are new as well. Water pump in new. New air filter. No leaks anywhere that I can find. Everything is clean, other than for storage dust. Interior is good. No rips or wear. Headliner is perfect. Leather seats are still supple, except for the bucket bottoms. . both lower cushions have shrunk and become hard with age. Seat backs are great! All locks, hinges and window regulators work, but will need lubrication. Doors align perfect, and close with one finger. Will need an oil pressure sending unit. All other gauges work. Has factory spare tire and changing equipment. Body has been painted once in the factory color. Paint is faded, and the clear coat on the passenger fender is peeling. NO RUST OR BONDO! ! I've been all over this car with a magnet, and found nothing. Sheet metal is perfect, especially when you consider this is a 38yr old car. Will be getting the receipts all maintenance done since new, on Wednesday. Can answer questions better then. $1000 deposit required to secure purchase. I have 12 days from today (Monday) to transfer title, so a trip with purchaser to the DMV may be required depending on how long this process goes. Images Download the Motors app
