“Gently used SURVIVOR CJ7 Jamboree. Original paint and outstanding body. Jeep produced the Jamboree Edition in 1982 only to honor the 30th Anniversary of the Jeeper's Jamboree. The Jeeper's Jamboree started in 1953 and takes place on the Rubicon Trail (The Devil's Playground). Experts estimated approximately 600 Jamborees were ever made, with fewer than 200 still in existence and probably 20 or less in comparable survivor condition as this one.” |

Vehicle description
Beautiful 1982 Jeep CJ7 - Jamboree Edition!
The Jeep CJ7 Jamboree was a limited edition CJ that Jeep released in 1982 (only year) that was produced to honor the 30th anniversary of the the "Jeeper"s Jamboree," which was an event started in 1953 which took place on the Rubicon Trail, aka "The Devils Playground." Experts estimate that approximately 600 Jamborees were ever made, with maybe 1/3 of those still around today. I"ve been fiddling with Jeep CJs for 20 years and have been seriously collecting for the past 8 or 9 and without a doubt this is one of the best survivor Jamborees in existence! Icing on the cake is the AutoCheck score. . check it out!
This Jeep survives in original paint, which is in very good condition. I did not detail the Jeep so you can see how well it looks in it"s current condition and it"ll only look better after a professional detail. The floors are remarkable with absolutely zero rust anywhere. The frame is absolutely perfect! This Jeep spent it"s entire life in southern California, then went to Colorado for a few months and now resides here in southern AZ. Can"t beat vehicles from the southwest!
A Howell electronic fuel injection kit was professionally installed, which means you have instant turn-key reliability. The Jeep starts up and runs flawlessly. A true pleasure to drive with excellent acceleration, stopping power and no wandering. With never having any suspension modifications, the steering is as tight as they come for a CJ. The Jeep shows 140k miles, but I believe it to have far less on the drivetrain as it did have an auxiliary tow harness tucked into the engine compartment.
The soft top has seen better days and I would plan on replacing it immediately.
Please feel free to call me at any reasonable hour to discuss the Jeep more thoroughly. This is a 38/39 year old vehicle, so don"t expect perfect but it is certainly a very nice survivor. I"ve done my best to accurately describe this Jeep with both photos and description. I"m open to trades on other collector quality Jeeps such as CJ5s, CJ7s or Scramblers. Jeremy
The fine print - $500 immediate deposit upon offer acceptance. Balance is due within 3 business days via bank wire or certified check. Title will be expedited to buyer after all payments have cleared. Buyer is responsible for all shipping logistics. I will make any reasonable accommodation I can to help. If you need assistance with transport, I have a very reasonable shipper and I"ll be happy to share contact information after purchase. I believe this Jeep will drive across the country as-is, but it"s always best to transport a vehicle of this vintage.
