This is a 11k mile benchmark car and without question may be the nicest 1982 Mustang GT on the planet, or at least the nicest one available for sale within the last several years. Aside from the battery, it appears to be 100% original and untouched including the paint and decals. It even still has the original tires on it! !
This museum piece is the first year of the return of the Mustang GT and the introduction of the famous 5.0 Liter motor which changed everything and the start of the pony war with Chevrolet and their Camaro Z28.
This all original 11K mile car is documented with a Marti Report and a clean carfax report. I have looked high and low and have not seen another early fox body, yet alone a GT in anywhere near this condition. This car can best be described as a time capsure or a benchmark car, yes it is that spectacular and original! I am thinning out my Mustang collection and time to turn this car onto the next person to enjoy.
I just went thru this car and everything works as it should and it feels like a time capsule. It has all the right options including t-tops, manual transmisison, air conditioning, traction lok rear end and more. I just had the air conditioned converted to R134A and it blows ice cold. It was ordered as a radio delete car and has the original radio that was installed in the dealer when sold new. It also has dealer installed stripe kit and rear window louvers which were all Ford factory accessories and installed at thew dealer when it was brand new.
