Vehicle description
This is an original 1982 Fiat Spider 2000, This white with tan leather interior car is one of the last of the 124 Spider series.
I"m the 2nd owner, purchased the car from a personal friend, so I know the history before me. Always garage kept. The car has the original paint with the upgrades of pin stripping, chrome door trim and chrome wheel well trim. Original Fiat wheels are undamaged. The top was replaced several years ago, back window is clear and top is easy to lower and raise. There is limited surface rust on the body and undercarriage, but there are no hidden attempts at body repairs of Bondo or fiberglass. You can see exactly what you"re buying.
The interior is all original. The wood instrument panel and gauges are pristine and working except gas gauge is not working. All lights and wipers are working. The door panels and back "seat" are in excellent condition . The roof fits tight, no leaking in the rain. The front carpets and driver"s seat show their age, but can easily be replaced or recovered.
Mechanically sound, runs well and was inspected in April 2019. Starts first time you turn the key. Shifts smoothly through the gears. Recent work within the past year: New tires, shocks and exhaust. New fuel tank, pump, filter and lines. New master cylinder, front calipers, front and rear brake pads and rotors. Head gasket set, and timing belt and tensioner pulley were done as well. ( I have all the receipts for parts and labor.)
These cars are increasing in value. This is a great driving car, and summer is here.
