Vehicle Details Ever dreamed of owning a Collector Edition Corvette? Well here is your chance! Please read the description thoroughly! Up for sale here is a 1982 Collector Edition Corvette, a daily driver, not a trailer/show queen by any means, but a very nice example which still turns heads and gets lots of attention! This Corvette has been repainted in the original Silver-Beige metallic, and while it was obviously a higher end paint job, it does have a few flaws here and there, the most notable being on the front nose (pictured) and a few of the minor pinstriping details were left off. The car is all original except the previous owner removed the catalytic converter to put on a true dual exhaust system. The previous owner also had the transmission rebuilt, and I do have the receipt. In addition, the weak rear glass hinges that were prone to breaking have been replaced with the much stronger (and expensive) aftermarket replacements. The interior is nice, but the seats show a lot of wear as does the center console. The horn and the a/c do not currently work, the a/c did work but the belt snapped and I have not replaced it, not sure if it still works. The tires were replaced two and half years ago and have about 2K miles on them (Cooper Cobras) I do not have the original owners manual or the other details such as the center cap removal tool. The radio has been replaced with an aftermarket unit (which has a CD stuck in it but I will include another aftermarket radio/CD player) Non refundable deposit of $250.00 required within 24 hours of auction ending, balance due in cash upon picking up the vehicle.
