Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1982 Chevrolet K10 is a restomod. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes You are buying truck ‘AS IS’ and buyer takes care of any and all shipping. $500 dollar deposit at end of auction and cash balance at vehicle pick up. Will hold vehicle for 7 days after auction ends. The truck is also listed locally and I as the seller reserve the right to end auction at any time. Vehicle Details I’m selling the first truck I ever bought. I bought this truck when I was 14 years old and out of high school sold her off. A few years later I found it and bought it back, this time I did a complete frame off restoration. It’s a 1982 Chevy short bed Scottsdale package, I completed the restoration in 2012 so it is a Nine year old restoration now. But has been garage kept since I finished it and only driven in the rain maybe 10 times. Due to family getting larger and priorities changing I’m now selling her again. This time it has a Chevy 350 with eldebrok intake and carb, Mallory ingnition dist., and M/T valve covers. It has a 350 Turbo trans built by Monster Transmissions. It’s a 6” Superlift in the front and 6” Skyjacker full leafs in the back. Has 35” Goodyear Wranglers and the original old school rallies along with Warn locking hubs. The frame was stripped down to the bolt and down to clean metal, then Por15 entire frame. It’s a weekend cruiser and looks great out car shows. It has very small bubbling at the bottom of the passenger rear wheel arch. That is very hard to even notice, other than that, no rust. It’s super clean from top to bottom. If I were to list any cons, they would include: small oil leak(which Chevy doesn’t) seems to be coming from front oil pan gasket; small trans fluid leak again seems to be coming from pan gasket; the paint has NEVER been wet sanded and it could use it, but obviously shines up real nice; The passenger side door to cab corner does not line up ‘perfectly’; It’s a 9 yr old restoration so the body is not PERFECT! But as you can see in pics, it’s a head turner. I’m not a dealer and I never sold anything on before so I’m not sure what all to write, other than your buying a great truck, my pride and joy and it is a very emotional decision. I’d like to see it go to the right person out there that knows these trucks and appreciate there style and performance. Sorry if the pictures are a little scattered.
