About this vehicle This 1982 Chevrolet C30 is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes (Buyers are responsible for pickup) I recommend the buyer have it hauled to new location for it does not have seat belts installed yet. Vehicle Details Bought this vehicle locally about three years ago as a project truck. The privous owner I bought it from was in the middle of restoring it but was unable to finish due to medical problems. He swapped the original engine out which was a 454 with a 350 to save on gas. My original intention when I bought it was to throw a 454 back in it and take it in for a paint job for I wanted to have it painted black. It’s been three years since I’ve owned it and I still haven’t had the time to start the project nor does it look like I’m going to have time anytime soon so that’s why I am selling it. The truck has been garaged the whole time I have had it and have only driven it probably under 100 miles. The body is almost in perfect condition,no dents. The color looks to be like a dark metallic gun metal. It has a 350 engine in it with a three speed transmission. Have to pump the brake pedal a couple times before you start it. The engine seems to run just fine can’t really find any problems there. The drive belt squeaks a little when you first start it then goes away. I’m pretty sure the truck will need new front brake pads for it kind of pulls to the right when you push on the brakes hard. The inside is pretty much all black. The previous owner installed a oil gauge below the steering wheel for the one on the instrument cluster does not work. The seats have new seat covers, he installed new carpet but was unable to finish installing the seat belts due to his illness so I have the ones he gave me as seen in pics. There are some cracks on the dash and will need a new rear view mirror and roof liner. All the blinkers work front and back. Headlights and brake lights work. The outer back light on the back of the cab does not light up. Probably will need a new bulb. The license plate lights also do not light up. Looked under the rear fender and seen some wires disconnected. That’s probably the issue. Not 100% sure. There is no stereo or speakers installed in this vehicle. The tires seem to be in pretty good condition. I have done nothing to this vehicle mechanically since I have owned it besides buy a new battery and alternator due to it sitting for a long period of time. Come to find out the original alternator still is good. Had orilieys test it so new alternator is still in box. This truck definitely needs some updating to it. The vehicle needs a thorough walk through and inspection. I was going to spray wash the engine so buyers could see the engine better but didn’t want to chance it might have a electric problem of some kind so that part has been untouched.
