For sale in our Chicago showroom is this survivor 1981 Pontiac Bonneville. Powering this luxury 4-door is a 3.8l V6 with an automatic transmission. The "81 was the end of a generation for Bonneville, being the last year of its body style, as well as an end of an era for Pontiac, as all V8 engines would be discontinued, making way for Chevrolet V8s. This example houses the Buick 3.8l as a way of keeping fuel use within acceptable range for the EPA. The power of the V6 is more than acceptable to get this personal luxury sedan up to speed with ease.
