About this vehicle This 1981 Fiat 124 is an original. The owner has had it for 4 years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details Cat is not running or drivable as is, but has a lot going for it. The motor runs amazing, and has been tuned up within the last years. Lots of newer parts (distribute cap, rotor, plug wires, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, and several other odds and ends. The battery is dead. But, if jumped, it will start and sounds great. There is new exhaust, with a Catyletic converter test pipe. The tires were bought last year, but one is flat. The top was replaced approximately 3 years ago. Car has very little rust. Now, the bad. The output shaft of the transmission granaded, and destroyed the transmission. The car needs a new transmission, and also needs the electrical system gone through. Turn signals and other exterior lights do not work reliably. Car drives incredibly well. Front end is tight, and car tracks straight down the road. Well worth restoring! $200 deposit required within 24 hours of auction end.
