You are bidding on a low mileage 1981 Delorean DMC-12 in Stainless Steel over Gray Leather interior with 5 Speed manual transmission. This particular Delorean has essentially had only one owner since new and has recently received a thorough cosmetic freshening. The exterior of the car (stainless steel, paint and glass) are all in original looking condition. The painted front and rear fascias have been recently redone and look factory new with not a blemish to be found. Overall the stainless is in extremely nice condition but has a few minor dents and dings with one small parking lot bruise on the driver side front fender. Not noticeable in the photos of course. No cracks or chips in the glass and all in very good condition. Wheels are painted and look great while riding on like new BF Goodrich white letter tires. Epoxy coated frame is in outstanding condition unlike most. Photos available on request. The interior of the car (seats, cockpit, carpet, door panels and dash) are all in excellent condition still. The seats themselves have been recently recovered with factory specification gray leather. Door panels are original and very nice while portions of the carpeting are new. Light gray headliner is also completely new and looks factory fresh. The dash itself does have some usual fading with the binnacle having some typical cracking. Comes as shown however with a nice carpeted dash overlay. Mechanically the car is in good running condition and can certainly be used as is. The engine starts and runs well and sounds as expected without any strange noises. Does not even have the typical exhaust manifold noise. The clutch and transmission are tight and shift well while working as they should. All gauges and lighting working properly with the exception of the tachometer. The car has had many upgrades over the years to include but not limited to (stainless steel clutch line, stainless steel fuel lines, updated fuel pump/sending unit combo, stainless steel header bottle, etc. All 4 factory wheels (plus factory spare wheel and tire) are present and in good condition while riding on correct offset size BF Goodrich Radial T/A white letter tires.
