Vehicle description
This is a really good project car that has many of the pieces it needs already, awaiting installation . I don"t know much about the history of the car. I"ve had a few of these and it is in great shape with very little rust. The drivers floor needs replacing and the floorpans from Rimmers, for both sides, are in the trunk. It runs well, shifts well, brakes well. Shocks are shot. New front struts are included.
I"ve taken as many photos of typical TR7 rust areas and this car is very solid. Trunk is very solid as are the inner fenderwells.
The bonus is that it has A/C! Not often found in convertibles!
Included and in the trunk are: -New Carpet Set -New Front Struts -New Front Floorpans -Steering Rack -Rear Exhaust Section -Top Cover
Overall it shows OK. The paint job is not the greatest and if I kept it I would eventually re-paint it. The top of the drivers door has a poor paint repair. The TR8 wheels look great and the tires are in good shape. Convertible top is decent and has had a couple small repairs.
If I didn"t have a garage full of unfinished cars, I would definitely put the effort into this one!
