Vehicle description

About this vehicle This 1980 Toyota BJ46 is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes This is a 1981. The VIN won’t fit the parameters because it is foreign but it is JT1P0BJ4600910131. I have the title and it is registered in AZ but located in KS. Vehicle Details I am selling my 1981 BJ46. This is a rare Euro spec diesel imported from France a few years ago. The BJ46 is the longer wheel base model and comparable to the gas, American FJ43. I have owned this for about a year and drive it weekly. It has the original drivetrain and working 4 wheel drive. This particular model has a hard top as most European BJ46s had a canvas top. This particular model is outfitted with a PTO wench. The good: The engine and transmission work flawlessly, no smoke or lags and she will start up on a cold morning. I have replaced all filters and fluids and it shifts in and out of high and low range and through all gears with no issues. The heater, all controls, lights, accessories, gauges, work fine. Parking brake and brakes work fine. Upholstery on all of the seats is in great shape (especially the front) and it comes with the original vinyl floor mats. Brights, windshield wipers and sprayers all work and all of the windows roll up and down. Glass is in great shape and all windows and mirrors are not chipped. The bad: It’s an old Toyota. The previous owner did some “temporary” fixes to rust on the old rear quarter panels so it has rust in the usual spots. There is also some rust on the lower parts of the door and door sills. The PTO wench is missing the shaft. The output from the transfer case spins forward and backward so the wench would UFL work with the shaft from the transfer case. Other that those two spots rust is surface level. I purchased this to do a restoration but I am in the military and cannot take it with me to my next assignment overseas. I’m not in a rush to sell it so no low ball offers. Exterior Interior Engine Custom Delivery Instructions Buyer is responsible but I can assist.
