Bernardis were a 1980"s Ford Pinto/Mustang II based kitcar, of very high quality. Blakely was a Wisconsin based builder of Fiberglass Boats, who produced 2 models: The Bearcat, and the stylish Roadster, the Bernardi. The kit came with a full steel frame, and a double layered, foam filled fiberglass body, and all the specific parts needed for the assembly, short of the donor car of your choice (Pinto or Mustang II). This one was assembled and titled as a model year 2000,self a ssembled vehicle, titled and registered in the State of Ohio, and currently in my name.I had to select "1980" in the "Year" drop down box, as Ebays system won"t accept the real Vin number, for some reason. This car used a 1978 Pinto as a donor car, and has a rebuilt Ford 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine (the engine bay will support a small block Ford engine. .it"s in the included assembly manual!), and Automatic Transmission. Nearly everything bumper to bumper is new, or rebuilt. Engine features a wrapped header, a new Weber 2 bbl carb, and a Cannon Intake Manifold($750). Radiator, hoses, belts,Water Pump,Thermostat, Distributor,Gages (SW Vintage Series)($450), Alpine Stereo, New Convertible Top($500) , REAL Cragar Wire Wheels and tires,($1500),Carpeting,Black Leather "96 Mustang Seats,Brakes, Chrome Manual Steering rack and tie rod ends ($300) etc, etc,etc. Side curtain frames are included. You can see them in the open trunk photo, under the box. They have no plexiglass or fabric on them, and will need this done, if you intend to use them. I never did, so didn"t bother. The BRAND NEW Weber carb MAY need a little further tuning. Car starts right up, idles and accelerates nicely, without any issues. There may be more power available by tuning the carb. I purchased a genuine Weber Tuning/Jetting kit (included)and did not install it, as I"m not that confident to open up a new Weber and attempt to do any changes! Car has plenty of power as it is! Car is located in Wadsworth Ohio area, zip code 44281. Car is being sold in "as-is" condition, with no Warranty.(I"m no Dealer!) Local pickup is encouraged.
