| “A true diamond in the rough 1980 Porsche 928 - I originally bought this as a weekend driver/project car about 4 years ago. It has always been garage kept, but has not been driven/started in at least 2 years. There seems to be an electrical issue that is draining the battery as it won't turn over even with a brand new battery installed. The car does not run as it sits right now and I simply don't have the time to put into this great car. As of last time driving, it has a small oil leak and the antenna did not go up at all. Please see the pics for a detailed look at the interior/exterior. It definitely needs a deep cleaning and some TLC, but I put over $4000 into replacing the water pump and a list of other work. It is being sold AS IS and will need to be towed/flatbedded from my location.” |

About this vehicle This 1980 Porsche 928 is an original. The owner has had it for 4 years. The vehicle needs work and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes A true diamond in the rough 1980 Porsche 928 - I originally bought this as a weekend driver/project car about 4 years ago. It has always been garage kept, but has not been driven/started in at least 2 years. It is being sold AS IS and will need to be towed/flatbedded from my location. Exterior According to previous owner, it was repainted with original color and new windshield applied. Paint shows some bubbling and needs a good cleaning. Wheel are all original and have some flaking on the metal. Tires will definitely need to be replaced. Interior Interior is found in all original condition - definitely needs an interior detailing. Aftermarket radio put in by previous owner - rare chocolate brown interior. Some extra parts/car cover/original paperwork included along with original maintenance guide and manual folder. Odometer has never worked, so cannot attest to true mileage of vehicle. Engine Car currently does NOT run, but have invoices of thousands of dollars of work done by reputable local independent Porsche shop to take care of some issues prior to it being stored in the garage. The last time it ran, there were electrical issues with powering accessories/windows/etc. so I belive it is an electrical issue but not 100% sure. Clean and clear title in hand for lucky new owner - I do not want to sell as this was my dream project car, but other obligations and priorities have made me list this vehicle.
