They wanted a Pace Car that showed advancements in technology and the 1980 Pontiac Trans Am 4.9 Liter Turbocharged V8 did just that. This PHS Documented Pontiac is a one family owned Arizona car and has only 55k miles on it. It has been well cared for and always garaged! It has always received regular maintained and service. It features original paint, decals and interior. There are no cracks in the dash and it runs and drives out great. They were all built loaded with options and this example has 10 added cost options on top of that already long list. That makes this a High Option Car. They also included the WS6 handling package and the unique 15x8 Turbo style wheels done in White to match the car. 4 wheel disc brakes, heavy duty anti-sway bars and a high performance steering system all round out this Grand Touring Car. These were the first Turbo Charged cars built by Pontiac. They were an industry leader. They are true road cars and if you have never experienced driving one, you are missing out. The lighter weight engine made for a more balanced car and the handling was superb. They are really enjoyable to drive.
