One of the least modified Indy pace cars ever, this 1980 Trans AM is one of a kind. Sporting a 4.9 liter, 301 turbocharged V-8, with a compression ratio of 7.5:1. 210 Horses at 4000 rpms and a torque of 345 ft./lbs. at 2000. Paint and decals are in great shape, with the custom tri-color striping and firebird. The interior is the original oyster vinyl and oyster/ black hobnail cloth seats. The door panels rock a beautiful embroidered Firebird logo as well as the center of the back seat. You can jam out to the cassette player and the T-tops off. Garage kept, runs great, ready to drive. No known leaks and clean title. There are a few areas of concern that should be noted. First, the drivers seat does have a minor rip in it (see picture). Second, the drivers side power lock is not in the door. We do have the piece available with the car. Third, the A/C does need to be evaluated as it may need to be charged. Lastly, there is some minor staining on the backseat cloth. Stains may remove with a deep cleaning. T-tops need new gaskets to make more snug and better fit. Lastly, the drivers side seat belt holder on the seat needs to be replaced. Overall a great car for an even better price, ready to rock on! Burt Reynolds’s Trans AM recently sold for over $100,000.
