1980 Trans Am. 1977 front end swap complete with the 77-78 front spoilers. The Trans Am is powered by a Pontiac 400, bored .30 over with a nice size cam cam. Aluminum roller rockers Has a strong pulling TH350 transmission (barks the tires shifting gears if you want). The TA pulls out of the gate strong with, 3:42 Posi and still has a great rpm on highway. Has a brand new Jet Stage 2 Quadrajet, carb it performs great, Elderbrock performer aluminum intake. The TA Stops very well having 4 wheel disc brakes. The motor stays cool with a Champion Aluminum 4 core radiator with dual electric fans. Hooker headers sandblasted and refinished look great. Pypes crosflow stainless exhaust with x-pipe and new correct tips. Engine pulled, painted and reinstalled with added polished aluminum pulleys. Engine bay was cleaned and painted professionally done looks very nice. Looks amazing pics do not do it justice. Very clean. Professionally welded in sub-frame connectors. Qa1 adjustable coil over kit. All new polyurethane bushings through out the front end of car. Car rides very nice with new body bushing. Very great handling Trans Am, with a newer close ratio powering sterring gear box. Interior of the car looks great. All gauges work, except for in dash clock. All lights work blinkers work. Dome light works. Tilt wheel, rear defrost, was an A/C car currently no a/c. P/S, P/B and it does have 4-wheel disc brakes, stainless steel brake lines, very nice optioned TA. Recently reupholstered front seats. Headliner new, carpet looks nice. Dynomat sound deadening through out car. Brand New SE decal kit from Phoenix graphics (again pics don’t do it justice the white and gold look great). New Special edition door handle inserts. Car looks awesome runs awesome. The Trans Am looks great with the hood up or down. The metal on the car is very solid, floor pans trunk pan all in nice shape underneath is very clean. The paint looks nice with a good shine. Not perfect, very few blemishes only seen by very close inspection. This Trans Am will not disappoint. Repainted snowflake wheels last winter, newer centercaps, tires still have plenty of tread. CD player with a nice system, Dash unaltered but updated with head unit that can be plug into ipone or other device. It’s a sweet ride, turn key and go TA!
I call it White Gold, its different and stands out. It is a SE tribute. Not a numbers matching car, not an all original. This is a Trans AM that has been very well done that looks, sounds, and rides great. A very reasonably priced TA that you can take to shows or cruise ins and fit right in, even though more than likely you will be the only Trans Am there. Always gets a thumbs up and draws a crowd at cruise inns. The Trans Am will come with a binder full with receipts of most work done to the car. Work professionally done.
