1980 PONTIAC TRANS AM Manufacture date: 3/1980 Vin# 2W87WAL142835 Original miles-120768 This car went in for a complete paint job in 2010 (It has been stored in my garage with a cover on it since, except for the times I took it out for a drive or to a carshow.) The windshield, rear window and all the trim were removed and the entirebody was soda blasted before primer and yellow base coat/clear coat paint were applied. Replaced all, door, trunk, T-Tops and window seals with new gaskets/seals. (There are a few small paint chips on the front bumper and door edges. Also slight bubbling in the paint on left front fender at lower rear corner.) The original 4.9L engine was replaced with a rebuilt 350 out of a 1968 Fire Bird. Engine has Edelbrock intake manifold, carburetor- headers and a mild cam. The TH350trans is rebuilt as well. The car has about 3000 miles since the engine andtransmission were rebuilt. The new paint was shortly afterwards. Has dual exhaust with nice throaty sound but not too loud. Car has AC, power windows, doorlocks, cruise control and tilt wheel. (power locks and cruise not working) You will notice this vehicle has T-Tops (comes with extra T-top) and the louvers on the rear window. It has rear air shocks and they hold air great. Includes the original AM/FM Cassette player, but a CD player is hooked up now. The fabric is coming loose from headliner in places. The seats are in fair condition. The carpet has been replaced. Full set of Trans Am floor mats. Original Honeycomb wheels. Tires look fine, but they are over 10 years old. I am only selling the car now, because we are selling our home and I won’t have anywhere to store it.
