I’m the second owner of this Monte Carlo. Looking to sell to somebody that will take as much care of it as I did. It’s a 1980 Landau with only 62,700 original miles. I rarely drive it, the engine has plenty of life left. Haven’t had one issue with the engine. I purchased it in 97 when it had around 38,000 miles on it. The paint is also original, with very minor rust. Only a few marks on front bumper, which makes a easy fix. To be almost 40 years old, the white paint has held up very well. It still has a pure, clean look, especially after being washed. The transmission was replaced back in 2011, haven’t had issue with it since. The wheels are original, change all tires over year ago. The tires have plenty of tread, which makes a smooth ride. The green interior is still original, which I take pride in keeping clean. I have had the seats shampooed multiple times. The headliner is also clean, along with the carpet. The dash doesn’t have cracks or sun damage, the radio is original and works fine. The wood ascents makes it look even better. I had the air conditioner redone a few years back, blows cold as ice. The heat is good shape but rarely gets used, pretty warm here year round. The turn signals and front/back lights are in working matter. Only reason I’m selling is because it’s starting to take up too much space. I’ve had my joy with it, got enough compliments over the years. It’s time for somebody to actually put it on the road more and get use out of it. The way my schedule is set, I hardly get to attend to it. It cranks right up and drives smoothly on residential streets and the highway. Also does pretty good on gas mileage.
