This is a well preserved garage find with only 2,400 original miles. Car was discovered in a garage under cover, sitting on the original tires and disabled from lack of use with 1,700 miles logged. The car has basically been stored nearly it"s entire life as three owners thought they would enjoy it but never found the time. The second and third owners were friends and just passed from one garage to another. Full owner documentation and original books, manuals, original bill of sale and window sticker will come with the vehicle. If the original tires are desired they will be shipped separately. Original tool kit and spare tire is in the trunk and undisturbed.
The car is perfectly road worthy and reliable. The original tires have been replaced. The ignition distributor has been replaced with a maintenance free electronic unit but the original is working fine and will come with the car. There is a new battery and fresh fluids. There are no "mods" done to this car except for the electronic ignition. It is bone stock but for the required maintenance items needed to make it a reliable driver.
This car is as clean underneath as it is above. There is no rust, no parking dings, no significant scratches.
All canvas is in excellent condition, and includes the convertible top, the boot for when it is folded, and the cockpit cover. All are original and unblemished. The paint shines nicely and the wheels are near perfect. There are no dings or scrapes on the wheels.
The car has been driven approximately 600 miles to shake out all the bugs. It is mechanically sound and ready to be enjoyed. Original radio works as it should. The interior is spotless and free of any wear as would be expected with such low use.
This is as new as they come and all the work to get it ready for the road has been completed.
