All original 1980 4.9L Maserati Quattroporte. 1 of 1600 made between 1979 and 1989 or so. One of the earliest produced in a stunning light Azul. Original lacquer paint is crazing as can be seen in the photo around the Maserati emblem. Absolutely zero rust. Was owned from new until 2016 by George Rosenthal of Raleigh Enterprises and Rosenthal Vineyards in Malibu.
All electrical items work perfectly. Holds engine temps on the hottest days. Oil temps are stable and also in the correct range. Regularly serviced over the years as needed and has recently had a thorough mechanical rennovation performed. Many components replaced with new original replacement components. Fuel pumps and all fuel hoses replaced. All fluids changed. The 4 webers have been removed and completely rebuilt professionally. New Maserati hood and trunk struts. Ceramic brake pads installed - all 4 sets. Starter conversion to Nippondenso gear reduction for un-labored starts. Bearings repacked and sealed on the front. Brake fluid, oil , trans fluid filter and gasket replaced. Radiator hoses and coolant. Thermostat replaced. Fuel regulator replaced as well as new optima battery. Plugs, wires, cap, coil and rotor. New front coilovers (QP3) front springs have tendency to sag from time. Starts and runs perfectly shifts perfectly. Ready to drive anywhere without issue. I also replaced the exhaust with new stainless mandrel bent from the headers to the tail section. No expense spared. Lovely car.
Has original perfect Maserati floor mats under new coco custom mats. The smell inside the car is amazing and persistent. It absolutely smells like new. Thick leather and wood aroma I can only compare to that of a fine Italian shoemaker"s store, I love it. Has original owners manual and tool kits as well in perfect condition. Leather soft and supple. Wood is flawless. Amazing car to drive. Smoother than my Bentley on the bumps and it has a nice chaotic Italian roar to it. I would replace the tires, but with a car of this age the fact it has it"s original tires intact and on the car verifies mileage to be accurate and lifetime storage conditions overall to be exemplary. Aside from the fact the tires should be replaced because of age they currently exhibit no cracking or separation issues and are in balance for freeway speeds and beyond.

Edit: Car is obviously stored inside and is not driven in the snow. It had to be pulled out for pictures.
