Vehicle description
1980 JEEP CJ CJ7 With Original 258 Inline 6 cyl and 3 speed manual transmission.
We purchased this Jeep a couple years ago with idea of it being something fun just for me and my wife. However, now we have grandkids who live an hour away so we need something more highway friendly. Here is what I know about this Jeep. It is in good restorable condition. I call it orange, my wife says it is red. It has typical rust toward the rear of the frame. I was told when I bought it that the tires were fairly new. They are M/T Mudstar radials. It is a 10 footer and there is not alot of rust. I have recently installed a new brake master cylinder(brakes need bled). It has a new Interstate battery. I installed a new gas tank, new fuel sending unit and new fuel pump, I put a rubber fuel line all the way from the fuel pump to the gas tank because it was not getting fuel. I would suggest installing new fuel line. It also has a new air breather. New wipers(not installed). New turn signal lever(not installed). It starts easy and I have driven it around our property. The clutch feels good and I have tested reverse and 1st gear. It has a deer horn for a shift knob. Shows 33849 on the odometer. I have a clean Kentucky title in my name. Slater
