For sale is my 1980 Ford F-350 Ranger finished in amazing Light Medium Pine over Dark Pine Metallic Green with gorgeous green vinyl interior. This rare 4x4 F-350 was ordered by McRoberts Motor Co on June 18th 1979 and sold to the original owner on July 12th 1980 in Gresham Oregon. And has only covered 93k miles and had two owners since then. The Marti report included in the gallery below lists all the F350’s options but some that stand out include in bed spare tire, comfort heater, tinted glass, two tone paint and of course the Ranger package. The Marti report also states this is 1 of 81 ‘80 F-350s with these paint colors and 1 of 41 with these paint and trim codes.
This F-350 is powered by its original 351 V8 backed by a 4 speed manual. The F-350 runs and drives as should. Both the front axle and rear Dana 60 axle are fit 3.54 gears. All brakes and the power steering system have been serviced and are ready to go. The truck wears a set of aluminum 16 inch wheels with new 265/75R16 all terrain tires.
The body is great shape overall, all panels are original and rust free. All paint on the truck is original except the tailgate which was repainted at some point. It shows extremely well but does have some chips, scratches as you would expect and the burn mark on the right rear quarter from the first owner idling it against a wall. The bed does have some surface rust near the front and signs of use but nothing unexpected for the year. All trim shows well, lights work ect.
The factory green interior is in great shape. The seat has some small cracking at the drivers outer edge but that’s it for wear. The dash pad is perfect and crack free as well, which is extremely uncommon for these bullnose trucks. The factory instrumentation works as it should, as does the factory AM/FM stereo radio.
This is the perfect rig for a night out on the town, or the daily commute if you desire. It runs and drives like it should and turns heads everywhere it goes!
