Vehicle description

About this vehicle This 1980 Dodge Custom is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes See my feedback and bid with confidence Vehicle Details 1980 Dodge Custom Crew Cab 12 Valve diesel. It was a D-250 conversion. This started as 1980 gas engine 2wd, the conversion consists of a 1993 w250 4 wheel drive from the steering wheel forward, including the dash and Cummins running gear. Only 50k miles on 93 dodge Cummins motor! it has no blow by, does not leak oil, starts right up and runs flawlessly. It’s accompanied by a second gen nv4500 5 speed manual transmission that shifts perfectly and the aftermarket single disk clutch is strong. NP205 / 203 doubler transfer case works fine. Front factory front axle is from the 93 first gen and the rear axle is a full float 14-bolt Chevy 1 ton with disk breaks and 488 gears. Just recently installed a brand new VE Pump as the old one went out while daily driving, only driven 100 miles since. The suspension and running gear is custom and beefy, quality job done here, built for off-roading. It is equivalent to about a 12 inch lift and sits on Nittto 40/15.50R20 tires with 90% tread, and 20x10 WELD wheels. ($3k+ in wheels and tires alone). The truck is very drivable, however the immediate issues to address is a leaking leaking steering box and T case, could use some front rotors and pads too. There is some areas of rust in the body of the truck as well, none underneath or in the floors. There was a great deal of time and money invested into this one of a kind truck. I bought is for my Son but we agreed he needs something more suited for his new job. Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
