I am selling a 1987 AM General M998 HMMWV. First the preliminaries: Vehicle is sold as an off-highway use vehicle, there is no title. As this is an ex-military vehicle, all buyers must be a valid US Citizen, and must have proof of citizenship. Buyer will be required to sign a hold-harmless agreement, and fill out an End User Certificate form. Prospective buyers will be given opportunity to view and inspect the vehicle before bidding. No tire kickers or joy riders. Vehicle is also for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. Specs on vehicle are as follows. Only 44,XXX miles! 1987 demilitarized AM General HMMWV. 6.2L Diesel, full time 4X4, Automatic, 4 Door, Soft-Top, with Soft-Divider between passenger and cargo. No rips in top or divider. One slight rip in passenger door rear corner, hardly noticeable. Test drive on the road is not possible, but I do have a small field you can try it out on. Transmission shifts smoothly, 4X4 is fully functional, starts up everytime. Vehicle has 2 new batteries, and I can also include a keyed ignition (installed if you wish). I also have 2 MRAP seats available to go with, at an additional cost.
