Own this fantastic ex. military vehicle. Newer 6.5L "General Engines Products" diesel, the replacement for the problematic GM built engines. Turbo 400 automatic transmission, and of course 4x4. Power 4 wheel disc brakes. Power steering. Properly registered and full coverage insured with no problems as a M998 American general, No fake vin #. All original except the key ignition, and civilian trailer hitch added. Still has the pintal hitch also. Comes with rear cargo cover and bows, makes a great tent or enclosed transport. Set up as a 2 door soft top with the rear seats under the hatches ready to use, these trucks can be changed into a 4 door, soft and hard tops, hard and soft doors, pick up or like a Yukon/Expedition. All gear boxes serviced, belts replaced, coolant and engine oil changed 2000 miles ago, all systems functioning well. Defrost system restored as it should be. Heater works great. It comes with 4 extra tan soft doors, also a 4 speed overdrive automatic and parts to install. It"s ready to go anywhere as is, drove it 7 hours home, and been driving it daily for 6 months, but I thought an overdrive would be nicer. I"m sure the speedometer has been changed, possibly when the engine was upgraded. Also comes with 3 extra military temperature gauges (Trans., engine oil , transfer case, was the idea) and a military hmmwv tachometer. I"m sure there are more parts I can"t think of. The tires are around 70% on original 12 bolt bead lock run flat wheels,+ a spare. Finances require me to sell, NO SHIPPING don"t ask. $14,500 Cash only.
